Santa Anita Park’s seven-decade saga is colorful and compelling. Since it first opened in 1934, this storied track has showcased some glorious moments in racing history, including Seabiscuit’s unforgettable 1940 Big ‘Cap victory and the world-captivating 1984 Olympics Equestrian Competition.

Facilities at Santa Anita include FrontRunner restaurant offering premier trackside dining with a sweeping racetrack view overlooking the finish line. The first-rate gourmet cuisine and fast-paced racing fun make for an unparalleled dining experience.

Santa Anita’s newest addition, Sirona’s is an ideal spot to spend a day at the races with a 70-foot long oval-shaped bar, 52 TV screens and four oversized high-definition projector screens to ensure you won’t miss a minute of the action.

Santa Anita Park is located just West of Los Angeles and opens annually on December 26, with live racing continuing through late April. In addition, Santa Anita’s fall meeting, presented by the Oak Tree Racing Association, takes to the track from early October to early November every year. Live racing is Wednesday through Sunday and holiday Mondays.
